My kind of morning

Yay, it's Friday! Everlee and I are road trippin' this weekend to see my best friend, and I'm so excited! But I'm also going to miss my other little ones, so I decided we needed some quality time together yesterday.



The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we spent ALL morning at the park.



I also may or may not have had a little hidden agenda to completely wear all three of them out so we could have a restful afternoon.



Anyways....

so before heading out, I made sure to throw in some bread, and I'm so thankful I did! They had an absolute blast feeding all the ducks. Cru chased them as if he were chasing the dog around the yard.....



and they chased him back!



It always makes me a bit nervous when those white swans get to honkin' and decide to get up close and personal.....



That's usually when the kids freak, drop all the bread, and run!



And then Cru decided to throw sticks, which hit a goose, and it started honkin' and flappin', so I figured it was time we ventured to the play area....







We wondered down by the water to watch turtles, look for gaters, and drag sticks in the water.



It was then nearing lunch time, getting a little warmer out, and our truck back to the van seemed like a million miles away, so it was a good time to call it a morning....



definitely my kind of morning!
