Guess What I Found?

Mother's Day pics from last year...

Hate that I never took the time to post these!  Sorry, moms!

They were just too cute not to post!

So thankful for my beautiful mom and mother in law.  They do so much for our families, we'd be lost without them!

Love you both ♥

PS - Love your blonde hair, Cheyna ;)

Power Ranger Cru is 5!

How can he be 5???  Almost a kindergartener...whaaaaa :(((((

His actual birthday was on Wednesday (not having his party on his actual birthday is a hard concept to grasp).  He went to school.  While he was at school, Everlee and I got a surprise ready for when he returned....

This is when Everlee's infatuation with Red Ranger began.

Yes, they are dancing....

Red Ranger never left her sight the rest of the day.

Once school was over, Cru had a special lunch with just Grandma and Grandpa.  Then we went to the library (his choice).  We also went to church, and after church we all celebrated at our favorite local restaurant....

Ain't no party like a La Fiesta party!!

Fast forward to the weekend....

I can't remember how or when Cru became obsessed with Power Rangers; it just happened.  He asked for that to be the theme of his party, and like Everlee, I found cool Power Ranger party ideas on Pinterest, but didn't use any of them because he also asked for a bowling party.  Again, we may have to use the Power Ranger theme in the future to use some of those Pinterest ideas.

Cru and his buddies (no girls allowed except his sisters and Charlee...his words, not mine) seemed to really enjoy bowling despite the balls weighing more than them!

Oh Everlee (with Colt).....she is one with the boys that's for sure!

Chet and Thatcher....according to Everlee's siblings and Thatcher's siblings, they are boyfriend and girlfriend ♥

They embrace.  A lot.  They've kissed....on the lips....at the park.

What would Red Ranger think??

They kind of all had that same form...

Only my son would put on his bowling shoes, tell me they are awesome, then ask if he gets to wear them home!

Aunt Cheyna....watch out for the sticky boots!

There they are again :)

So, after an hour of bowling, it was time for cake and presents.  Did you know it only takes 4 and 5 year old boys 2.5 seconds to eat cake and open presents?  Even though the party wasn't supposed to end for another hour?  Good times, I tell ya!

Thatcher, Jaxon, Hunter, Cru, Asher, Colt, Cole, Beckett, and Brady

Go Go Power Rangers!

Oh yes, he was there!

Cru opened presents from family at home after the party.  What every 5  year old needs...new car and new boots!

Our loveable, stubborn Cru...hope your day lived up to the hype! You had been counting down the days for literally months! You are pumped to finally be 5! I am not. But one positive, you have matured so much; I literally see you growing up before my eyes. You are compassionate, and although, sometimes mean to your sisters, you are also their protector. You are a perfectionist and very picky. You love music and dancing, but even more, you love sports. And I never want you to stop cuddling on my lap. You still continue to challenge us daily, but I wouldn't change one single thing about you. Love you, Bubba! Happy 5!

Our Horse Loving Girl Turns 3!

Everlee has loved horses for quite some time now.  She also loves Dora, Mickey, Sophia!.  But instead of doing a character theme birthday party, we went with horses.  I found so many cute ideas for this on Pinterest, but didn't do any of them since it really wasn't a "party" just a family get together.  I didn't even send out invitations...bad mommy!  So we may have to use this theme again in the future.

One of our old neighbors made her adorable cake.

She's probably the most Frozen-obsessed in our house ♥

And as you can see (from the pictures above), multiple wardrobe changes during her party....so her!

She could not have loved people singing to her more!!!

Her day was so special!  I didn't get pictures of all who were there, but we appreciate everyone's love for our sweet girl.

This little angel is so full of personality and adds just enough sugar AND spice to our family!  She is such a lover...and a fighter.  Her siblings adore her and she worships them!

Another wardrobe change!

Love our doodle bug ♥

Now let me bottle her up (brother and sister too!) and freeze time!
