Happy Weekend....just some random pics

Reese is going to be the flower girl in my cousin, Amber's, wedding in two weeks!

A birthday celebration for Grandma Cheryl!

Playing some ball with Auntie Casyn....in style, of course!

Our littlest rock chalker!

Could be the most adorable outfit ever :)

It's Easter time again, which means I turn into a crazy, mad woman trying to get one stinkin' picture of my kids all dressed up in their Easter outfits. I spent two days last week trying to accomplish that task, and this is what I got.....

Day 1:

This one would have been descent if Reese didn't look constipated.

Love Everlee looking at Cru.

The wet grass on his feet REALLY bothered him.

Day 2:

Everlee did not cooperate AT ALL this day.....Coy did not help matters and neither did the wind blowing the sheet off the fence.

Everlee!!! Where are you going?

Exactly, Everlee!

It was hell! I'm over it.

Pretty sure I need to conclude this post on a good note.....

I'd like to note that Reese was such a good girl while taking pictures....marshmallows mean a lot to her :)

Spring Break Excitement

Last week was spring break, and it rained every day except Friday. It really put a damper on our week, so when we woke up to sunshine Friday morning, my mom and I thought it would be a great day to have some fun! So, we loaded up the kids, made plans with my brother, and took off for Wichita.

Turns out because of all that rain, my brother had to work all day on the baseball fields, so he and Charlee weren't able to meet us. I'm sure my kids won't oppose planning another trip to see them.

Reese is an old pro at Build-A-Bear....

And Cru is quickly following in her footsteps....

This was Evee's first time....

Good thing she has a very helpful sister....

I think it was love at first sight....

Picking out clothes is always a hard decision for Reese, but Cru knew exactly what he wanted - a hoodie, shades, and he insisted on a purse.....

Yes, a purse....for himself! He's cool like that. Actually, everything he picked out, he thought was for himself; he even started taking off his own clothes to put theirs on!

What a kid!

It was a great way to get out of the house after a long, rainy week inside! And now we have new members of our already out-of-control stuffed animal collection - Elliott, Delgato, and Bunny.

31

Turning 31 consisted of getting some new ink with my friend, Tiff!

means patience....something I desperately need!

Turning 31 consisted of a celebration date to PF Changs and 21 Jump Street with my main man.

For the record, I was dressed first!

Turning 31 consisted of family and cake!

Chet's family has cake and candles for every birthday no matter who or their age....I love that!

Turning 31 consisted of a little pampering, thanks to Grammie!

Can't wait until Everlee can join us!

Turning 31 consisted of colored skinnies!!!! Another thanks to Grammie (and Papa)!

Anyone else been dying for a pair of these?!

Best of all, turning 31 consisted of love, happiness, and a jayhawk victory!

Reese and her Carters

Last Saturday, Reese's good buddies, Carter A. and Carter T., had their last wrestling tournament which was here in McPherson. My kids were so pumped to go watch!

Seriously, how cute?! Reese and Mallorie both made signs while we were waiting...love their innocent love for their friends!

The rowdy crowd was just that.....

R-O-W-D-Y!

Carter A. seemed pretty pumped to have a fan club....

He wrestled so awesome!

Way to go, Carter!

We had a short wait before it was Carter T.'s turn....more signs were made, however, my girl, Cru, and Carter A. had no time to hold them up because they spent the whole match beating their fists on the mat yelling, "Go Carter!!!". It was great!

And he did great!

Way to go, other Carter!

This mama was into it too and it wasn't even my child!

Just FYI, Cru will not wrestle! The choke holds and pinning and boys crying would just be too much for me to handle.

So we'll just continue making signs and cheering for our friends!

Thanks to my parents for keeping Everlee, who had a blast playing with cousin, Charlee! My mom said it was like having twins.

Grandma had a long day with all these kiddos.....

Not sure she would have it any other way. Thank you, Grammie!

I'm so thankful my kids had some fun cousin time with Charlee!
