I can't believe I forgot to mention this in my initial post! Monday night, Everlee slept the most she's ever slept - went to bed at 9:30 and didn't wake up until 6:15am! After she downed her bottle, she went right back in her crib and slept until 9:30am!
Monday, I took all three kids to the doctor's office for Everlee's nine month well check. We were there for about an hour and 20 minutes, which is actually somewhat of a short visit for us. Everlee is doing great! She weighs 20 pounds .5 ounces (75th%) and is 28 3/4 inches long (90%). She was so patient and good while the doctor was examining her. She totally won him over with all her smiles and giggles. He kept telling me what a patient, laid back, people person she already is - that credit goes to the two wild indians she spends her days with! I knew he was smitten with her when he never once brought up my health or the Jayhawks (you probably have to know our doctor to understand).
I'm thankful I had to only raise my voice a couple of times (like when Reese threw her stuffed animal across the room, then ran after it, put it in time out, and spanked it. Also, when Cru stole one of Reese's animals (I think she brought six!), which prompted Reese to chase after him until he threw it behind the bed.). For the most part though, they behaved.
After well behavior at Everlee's appointment, I took the kids to the donut shop for a special treat!
While we were downtown at the donut shop, the BPU workers were putting up the Christmas wreaths and lights.....we've got some timing! Here was the view from our van!
Yes, they were working directly above us! Cru loved every minute of it and asked all sorts of questions about what they were doing.
Monday was also Papa's birthday! So, after our busy morning, we went to his store to give him a bunch of birthday hugs! We had supper with him and Grammie that evening and look forward to celebrating again when Ty, Audrey, and Charlee are here this weekend!
Sam wanted to join in on Papa's birthday fun!
Not bad for a Monday!
Almost turkey time!!!!
