We weren't allowed to take pictures or video tape during the actual recital, so these were taken during dress rehearsal.

I'm amazed at how three and four year olds can learn an entire routine; I couldn't do it!
They may not all be on cue, but they know it nonetheless.

What an ending!
You never know how a three year old might react when they are on stage and all eyes are on them. For Reese, it was no problem. In fact, when we left the theater after the recital, the first thing she asked was if she could go back to "the stage" tomorrow.

We are so sad that Jessica and her family are leaving Manhattan, therefore Step 1 Dance 2 Academy is closing. Reese has only been part of it for a year, but we are so grateful for everything she has learned and every memory she's made during that time.
This wouldn't have been possible without Alisa! While Jessica was pregnant and on maternity leave, Alisa stepped in. Teaching three year olds is not an easy task, especially sassy dramatic ones. But she displayed great patience and enthusiasm every week, and we very much
appreciate that.
When I enrolled Reese in dance last July, I had no idea what to expect.....I knew she'd have fun free stylin', but I never thought she would learn the things she has and develop such meaningful fantastic relationships.
