Home sweet home

Yesterday, we had a great day in Vail. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. While Daddy stayed back at the hotel with Cru, Reese, Cheyna, and I enjoyed lunch down by the river.

We did a little more shopping after lunch. We didn't want to look like tourists with typical "Vail" shirts so we got stylish shirts instead from stores called Blitz and Oilily. We'll always remeber where they came from.

After a stop for some AMAZING homemade ice cream, we headed back to the hotel to meet Daddy and Cru for some fun in the sun! Yes, an outdoor pool in Colorado even a kiddy pool....both heated.

Baptizing, I mean, dunking Cheyna!

Can you tell Reese LOVED having Cheyna with us?!

Reese joined Daddy in the hot tub (or as Reese said, "hot pool") so Cru borrowed her floaty, and he LOVED it!

He kept smiling and trying to eat it.

Good times!

After pool time and pizza, we headed out for one last stroll around Vail. It was a perfect evening.

We managed to find another statue!

Saying good bye to Vail and the mountains.

Overall, the kids did really well in the car. Today was a little rough for Cru (and poor Cheyna who was trying to entertain him). I had special surprises all wrapped up for Reese for when she needed a change of pace, but she did so well with her movies and animals that I didn't even have to give them to her. So after our last stop in Russell, I gave her one. It was perfect for the rest of the way home.

These two were worth all the hassle!
