Oh Reese

You crack me up

These days, you are all about picking out your own clothes.
This is what you picked out today.

The first thing that popped in my mind....

33 years

Chet and I are getting ready to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary which is hard to believe. However, 4 years seems like nothing compared to 33, which is how many years my parents are celebrating today.

We hope you guys have a wonderful day!

Take 2

We tried squash again tonight.
He sucked on the spoon like he was sucking on a bottle, then gave a little shimmy
and he liked it!
He kept getting distracted in between bites....wonder who was causing that??
He's only been eating about a spoonful in the evening before bath time and his last bottle. He sleeps all night, but not long enough in the mornings for my liking, so maybe this will help him sleep in like his sister.

YUM-O!

or maybe not!

Yes, it's that time again....baby food time. Technically, Cru isn't 6 months until next week, and usually I'm a by the book not a day early person when it comes to food, milk, water, whatever. However, Cru has seemed ready for food for quite a while now. Whether it's in your hand or on your plate, when he sees food, he attacks. So we introduced squash tonight.
He didn't love it

but he didn't hate it either.

And he sure looked cute with it all over his face.

Let the fun (and mess) begin!
Mmm, and Coy found some leftovers.

Stats

Reese and Cru had well-child checks today.
Reese: 3 years
weight: 34 lbs. (75%)
height: 38 1/2 in. (75%)
Cru: 6 months
weight: 18 lbs. 2 oz. (50%)
height: 26 3/4 in. (75%)
They both are going great and are very healthy (even though Reese is fighting her second cold in a month). Cru is pretty much the same size Reese was at 6 months. Reese weighed 18 lbs. 3.5 oz. and was 26 1/4 inches.
I was so proud of Reese during her appointment. It's definitely helped having doctor's kits at home; she didn't care what they did to her. She loved when they checked her blood pressure and looked in her ears, but her favorite part, the part she announced to everyone when we were done, was peeing in the cup. Hey, as long as she cooperated and did it, I didn't care who she told.
I can't believe my babies are almost 3 and 6 months! I can't say it enough, time goes way too fast!

NOT AGAIN!

At least this time it was on the tile and Chet was here to help clean up.
