Ty and Audrey's Vegas wedding

The guys were on their own the day of the wedding...scary thought. And Chelsea and I were in charge of the bride. Hair, make up, and champagne....what could be better!
Consulting with the stylist
checking out her work

working with the veil (and Audrey not liking it)

Husband and wife
Mothers and sisters
Smooches
and more!
I'm sure when most people think of a Vegas wedding, they think little white chapel and Elvis. Hardly the case for Ty and Audrey. Their parlor was absolutely gorgeous and their (6 minute) ceremony was perfect. Chet and I are so happy for you guys and so happy that we were able to be there with you to witness your special day. We love you guys so much!

When we left the kids and headed to the airport it felt like we were going to be gone for an eternity. Wrong! I can't believe we are already back! We had tons of fun in that short time.
When we landed, Chelsea and I headed to the restroom, and this is where we found Chet and Travis. It's Vegas, of course they have slots in the airport.
Our hotel, the Excalibur

Here are just a few random shots of other hotels. Hopefully, next time we'll have more time to walk the strip.

"Little tense about the flight?" - Dumb and Dumber

Tomorrow we are headed to

Here's a glimpse of what we'll be doing

a lot little of this!

The rest might have to "stay in Vegas."
Chet and I are both really excited about going since neither of us have been before.
The only problem is

I am not a flier! I begged Chet to drive. The kids aren't going, just us two in the car for umpteen hours...how bad could it be? Apparently, bad enough because he didn't even consider it for a second. Although, I thought he might consider it since the last time we flew he said he was never flying with me again. I freak out. I'm freaking out just typing about it. Good thing is I've got so much cleaning and packing to do. Yes, just this once, it's a good thing because it will keep my mind elsewhere. But that also means, time will go fast....I'm doomed. Oh, my stomach is churning.
The power of prayer will get me through

So in case you don't remember, the first time we gave Cru a ride in the little wagon around the basement, it went like this.

Today, it went like this!

Cru was enjoying it so much we moved the party outside.

My tall body was getting tired of pulling that teeny wagon, so we switched to the umbrella stroller. I hesitated at first since Cru still isn't a big fan of strollers, however he's a load, and since Reese wanted to keep riding her bike, I did not want to walk up and down the block with him in my hip.
Guess what? He loved it!

No squirming, no fussing, he was just chill.
